Children’s Care Home Physical Interventions: Course Feedback
Our principal trainer Gerard O'Dea spent four days recently with an organisation involved in the full time care, throughcare and aftercare programme for looked-after children. The organisation wanted to focus on De-Escalation and Personal Safety skills for staff and allocated 2 days for the training course to run through topics as follows:
- The processes of aggression (Kaplan and Wheeler model)
