The Two-Part Model
Part 1: Whole School Briefing (60–90 minutes)
The briefing covers the rules and principles only — no physical skills development. It is designed to establish a consistent, school-wide baseline of understanding. Every member of staff attends, so everyone is working from the same framework.
Part 2: Specialist Team Training (full day)
After the morning briefing, a smaller specialist team stays on for in-depth training throughout the rest of the day. This group develops the physical skills and scenario-based confidence needed to handle the higher-risk situations that may arise.
